The Return of Us (Tim Benjamin, 2022)

A cross-arts collaboration with Radius Opera, Kantos Chamber Choir, Andrew Kim, Kathy Kim, and Sue Walpole, this unusual take on the concept of a "silent" film features a sound design entirely constructed by human voices.

Midsummer (Jamie Weston, 2020)

Midsummer is told from the perspectives of the four elements who meet together in an ancient forest. When a Victorian tea table appears among the trees, they are tempted to leave their natural environment and join the party.

This short (originally released as Terminus) film uses dance, music, and sound design to tell an unsual story.

Little Thief

Little Thief is a film by Xavier Guignard and produced by Essay Pictures, science fiction set in a near-future world in which men are greatly out-numbered by women.

The score is mainly electronic, but also a choir of womens voices singing in micropolyphony, resulting in a sinister feel that complements the dark story. The trailer, embedded here, uses only music from the complete film's score.

The Conductor
